I get the worry about art theft and AI and stuff, but putting your watermark all over it is like... protecting your car by planting anti tank mines in your driveway. Yeah, nobody's gonna steal it, but now everyone just sees your driveway as a minefield.

Might I suggest subtly hiding your watermarks somewhere? Like some really inconspicuous place. Fun fact: Matt Groening does this with homer simpson (his ear and hair make up an M and a G)

See I get what your saying, but like, ai is getting more and more advanced a cute little signature quirk can easily get removed, subtle watermarks don't work anymore, the only way to mess up the thieves is to do loud obnoxious marks, if you so badly want to see unmarked stuff there are artist who make that a low level reward on their patreon mine is around 5 bucks a month. I am not trying to promote my site by the way just pointing it out.

If you really do care about the artist, you will be understanding on why we have to do this. I get it you think its a bunch of mines and no one is gonna wanna see it. But sadly I have to put those mines there. A lot of my followers actually don't mind the mines, they are actually understanding on why I and many other artist do it. If we didn't have to worry about theives and ai we wouldn't have to do this, but sadly this is the world we live in and we have to do what we can to survive, because those thefts take from us our hard work and our expression. Again if you want to see it unmarked many artists offer it as a reward on their patreon.

Sorry if I sound rude and bitchy but I am kinda tired of people complaining about something I have to do to protect my work because people just treat art something you look at then leave now a days...which trust me I hate, but I could go on a tirade about how the internet treats artist but I don't have the time right now to do it. Like I said a cute little quirk aint gonna cut it anymore these days, so get used to obnoxious watermarks and glazing, and if you don't wanna see it how about actually supporting the artists in some way, food costs money etc etc

Can relate. Can't tell you how many stream images I post every week on FA and it doesn't make even the slightest change in stream numbers.
